Events

Social events, youth outreach, and professional networking are a major part of UB SEDS, helping make the organization more than just a technical project club. Our social events build a welcoming community where students can make friends, collaborate, and connect with others who share an interest in space and engineering. Through youth outreach and STEM education, we engage younger students and the broader Buffalo community through hands-on activities involving rocketry, astronomy, and other space-related projects. We also provide opportunities for members to network with fellow students, engineers, researchers, and industry professionals, helping them discover internships, research opportunities, and careers in the aerospace and space industries. Together, these activities allow UB SEDS members to develop technical, teamwork, communication, leadership, and professional skills while sharing their passion for space with the community.
