The educational outreach group works with students from elementary school up to high school to teach the local community about what we do at SEDS and how they can get involved in rocketry.

Buffalo Science Museum
UB SEDS sent members to the Buffalo Science Museum during E-week to showcase our solid motor rocket. In addition to showcasing our rocket we did a coloring activity for elementary age kids to get creative and draw their own planets. This was a fantastic event with youth from all across the Buffalo area interested in science!

MOOG Rocketry Challenge
Each year MOOG hosts a high school rocketry challenge featuring schools all across WNY. This year UB SEDS sent members to act as mentors as they prepared for launch. We also brought our first generation hybrid rocket, TNAM, to showcase.
