Yuri's Night

Yuri's Night is an international celebration held every April 12 to commemorate milestones in space exploration. Yuri's Night is named for the first human to launch into space, Yuri Gagarin, who flew the Vostok 1 spaceship on April 12, 1961. [Wikipedia]

Yuri's Night 2019

SEDS celebrated Yuri's night 2019 on Friday April 19th at Pearl Street. Professor Paul Schifferle was our guest speaker for the event, and spoke about his time in the aerospace industry.

Yuri's Night 2018

SEDS celebrated Yuri's Night 2018 at Pearl Street Bar and Grill in downtown Buffalo with a special talk from Ron Franco about his experiences in NASA's HERA program.
