In the SEDS high altitude weather balloon project group, we build, launch, track and retrieve our own weather balloons as well as sometimes work with members from UBNL to help with our projects. We plan on continuing to work with UBNL in the future to send up more joint project balloons. In this group we work on the entire balloon which involves designing our own payload, working with radio frequencies, transmitters and all sorts of electronics to allow the payload to survive in the high atmosphere.

Unfortunately, weather balloon has been cancelled for the time being.
